Kent County, Michigan is composed of twenty-one townships, five villages and nine cities. The County seat is located in the City of Grand Rapids, which is the second largest city in the State. There are 26 school districts and five intermediate school districts located, in whole or in part, in the County. In terms of population, Kent County is the fourth largest county in the State of Michigan and growing. Kent County is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Deputy County Administrator who will ensure the effective and efficient development and implementation of the County’s policies, processes, and systems under the authority and direction of the Administrator/Controller. You will administer the operating and capital budgets for assigned departments with the County’s strategic, long-term goals as the top priority.
