Since graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Management, Lisa Cooper has worn every hat in HR from entry-level generalist to vice president. With a unique ability to understand both the big picture as well as the execution the day-to-day objectives, Lisa works closely with clients to define and deliver their human capital management strategies. Lisa specializes in building human resource functions from the ground up for small- and medium-sized organizations and has become go-to consultant for our clients starting a new business. Her expertise includes payroll and benefits, talent acquisition, performance management and development, employee retention and engagement, and human resources technology. She is passionate about the field of HR and mentoring young HR professionals as they enter the workforce.
